OCD and CBS

Dysfunctional CBS enzyme can lead to OCD.

This is what I suspect in our case, but genetic analysis didn’t show significant defects in CBS, just some common variants that reduce enzymatic activity.

Perhaps, combined with iron deficiency and poor methylation potential even a slightly “damaged” CBS can lead to insufficient cysteine synthesis?
