DNA methylation

An interesting and quite dense piece about DNA methylation in neurons.

I found especially interesting the section “Evidence for Dynamic Methylation in Brain Cells” which describes how specific genes are methylated/demethylated in response to events within hours or days.

Which means DNA methylation is highly dynamic phenomena by design.
