Myristic acid and Akt protein

After researching Akt/GSK3β, I have arrived at a possible explanation for the root cause of OCD: the composition of the membrane’s phospholipids does not support normal activation of Akt due to either an excessive amount of DHA, a low concentration of myristic acid, or both.

Myristic acid (C14:0) is found in nutmeg, coconut milk, butter, and palm kernel oil. In line with my belief that underactive Akt is protective against some types of cancer, increased consumption of myristic acid is a risk factor for cancer because it can activate Akt more than 60-fold, which cannot be achieved by other means.

Myristic acid is necessary for Akt to anchor to the membrane and become activated. Therefore, it is not an external stimulus but a necessary fatty acid by design.

My suspicion now is that an abnormal phospholipid profile (too much DHA) and/or insufficient myristic acid leads to inadequate activation of Akt, which in turn leads to overactive GSK3β. This blocks the activation of Nrf2, resulting in high oxidative stress and cellular dysfunction on many levels.
