Oral Iron Administration
And one more.
This is the first study to show that iron administration to children without anemia and with reduced serum ferritin (<50 ng/mL) improves symptoms such as anxiety, low concentration, depression, fatigability, and/or insomnia, as well as the CGI.
Our results also suggest that 6 weeks of iron administration are not sufficient and at least 12 weeks of iron administration are necessary to improve these psychological states and CGI.
